A small Bangkok workshop devoted to mean reversion analysis taught through balanced, chart-first sessions.
Our registered business
Panel Poplar Core Co., Ltd. is the official registered business name operating this training workshop. We were established in 2019 when Somchai Viriyaporn left a proprietary trading desk to teach session-based chart reading full time.
The company began in a shared office near Khlong San pier, running evening cohorts for four traders at a time. By 2021 we moved to our current address at 338 Ladya Road, expanded to daytime workshops, and added themed seminars at alumni request.
We are not a brokerage, signal vendor, or software provider. Revenue comes from workshop fees and private chart reviews — the same services listed on this site.
Who leads the sessions
Somchai Viriyaporn
Lead instructor. Eight years on a Bangkok prop desk trading index futures. Developed the balanced-session replay method used in our flagship workshop.
Nattaya Prasert
SET index specialist. Former equity analyst who joined Panel Poplar Core in 2020. Leads Thai-market seminars and co-facilitates paired replay blocks.
How we teach
Mean reversion only makes sense in context — session time, prior range, news proximity, and liquidity at the level you want to fade. We teach by slowing down real sessions, not by showing cherry-picked winners on a slide deck.
Every cohort uses the same printed grid paper, the same colour code for deviation bands, and the same rule: you must state your stop price aloud before your partner advances the replay tape. That friction is deliberate.
Values we hold in the room

- Small groups — Six to eight seats maximum so instructors know your name and your recurring mistakes.
- No outcome promises — We teach a framework; your results depend on execution, capital, and discipline outside the room.
